About us

Dr. William Brown is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He earned his medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine, as well as undergraduate and graduate degrees from East Carolina University. He completed his residency training in family medicine from East Carolina University followed by completion of residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Dr. Brown is a member of the American Medical Society and served as President of the NC Obstetrics & Gynecology Society. He is a native of Beulaville, NC and enjoys boating, tennis and the beach. Dr. Brown is married to Sylvia T. Brown, EdD, RN, CNE, Dean and Professor at the East Carolina University College of Nursing, and has two daughters. He established Greenville Women’s Clinic with Dr. Andrew Haven in 1987.
