Wilson School of Dance is located in a unique, charming former church building with beautiful Gothic arched windows, professional sprung floors so it's easy on dancers muscles and joints. Kids love the variety of jazz dance styles from hip -hop to Broadway, lyrical and more --set to pop/contemporary music so fun to dance to! Princess Ballet -- ages 3-5 or our next step up Pre-Dance with ballet and a little "Disney-style" jazz encourages EXPRESSION along with all the dance basics. THESE KIDS HAVE LOADS OF FUN! Pre-professional ballet and pointe classes provide the quality dance education for students major in dance in college or enter high level full professional training/apprenticeships. Emily majored in dance and now dances professionally! TAP?JAZZ COMBO CLASSES - ares o so FUN - with rhythms and moves like on TV and in dance shows -- it's great for developing confidence and style! Princess and pre-Ballet -- so pretty in pink :_). Lyrical Jazz for Pre-teen - Teens, uses music that has"lyrics" with popular artists like John Legend, Taylor Swift, DNCE, Ed Sheeren. It's a fabulous way to encourage emotional expressions through movement. BALLET - one of the most beautiful art forms.Students learn basic technique to advanced turns and leaps with teachers always encouraging artistic expression. Little Princess Fairies --- so cute! Beautiful costumes for our Spring Performance give students a feeling of being rewarded for their hard work memorizing dances and give confidence as they perform onstage! Tap Dance at Wilson School of Dance uses lots of interesting timings while teaching musical rhythms. Kids and adult classes enjoy making all kinds of cool sounds. Musical THeater classes are a great way to prepare for school plays and community theater shows or even a college major in drama -- plus, let's face it --dancing with hats, canes, props, and kick-lines are awesome exciting to perform! Jazz-Theater Dance - whether it's dancing to "Chicago", Swing Kids", "Hamilton" from beginning kids to advanced dancers -- a super class for confidence and "shine"! Grace, ,,poise.. confidence -- qualities for every little princess -- plus all the ballet basics that build strength, coordination, balance, and memorization skills that will help students all through life.
