I am very pleased my children started Tae Kwon Do Last year. I am very impressed with the way the Instructors speak to the children and show them respect at all times. They are not only teaching children self defence and self discipline but also teaching them about what behaviours are acceptable from others and also their own standards. As a fat, old lady with a sedentary job, I have long been concerned with my lack of exercise. For over a year I sat and watched my two sons learn and advance through different levels of Tae Kwon Do. Then, I realized I could get a workout with my kids. At first, my family was skeptical. My eight year old said, Mommy, I hope they don't make fun of you. I am pleased to say that no one did (although the opportunities were and are rampant.) The boys and I have different goals, but we all enjoy the workout and the challenge. My husband is surprised and pleased, and I feel virtuous.

We participate in TKD as a family activity and it has been a productive and healthy way to build a family hobby. We are all in better shape and are more aware of the need for discipline and the beauty of showing respect and kindness. World Taekwondo Center is well organized. Classes start and end on time and each individual is shown respect and courtesy. Instructors are friendly and helpful and the many extra activities hosted by World TKD Center are a hit with the children.

For me, Tae Kwon Do has been a pleasant experience in that it gives me some time each week to spend with my son. As he gets older, the time we spend together is often limited by the things he wants to do. TKD has provided a challenge for both of us to work through together. The physical activity is helpful as well - - it's far too easy to spend available free time being sedentary. Although I am usually tired after each class, I know the benefits of the activities have been evident.

My boy - Adrian is learning work ethics from consistent and constant practices. He is also learning disciplines, such as respecting seniors and peers, as well as listening. These are basic values. I'm delighted that Adrian gets to practice regularly.
