Yale New Haven Hospital Temple Radiology in Hamden is my worst medical experience. The admin area and office was great. The ladies were wonderful smiles and niceties. A gentleman came in and called my name, I got up he just started walking; I assumed I should follow. He did point to the restroom and ask if I needed to use it. We left the building and entered a trailer. I was asked my name and birthdate and told to remove my shirt and bra. They pulled a curtain. Next I was led into a small area and told to lie down. Here put these in your ears for the noise, grunted the man. Next I was told this will take 30 minutes. Here is a panic button and in I went. Granted I am not comfortable in enclosed spaces. But with little empathy, no bedside manner and no communication. A huge amount of noise began. I was startled and opened my eyes. The surroundings were suffocating. I squeezed the panic button - heard NO response and so I kept squeezing. Then I screamed Can I come out please? ...
