Tasting our dishes at Yefsi is not about eating. We look at food as a cultural symbol; a form of art and pleasure. There is no “right or wrong” way to taste. Come in prepared to use each one of your senses and understand the perceptions of tasting– “yevome,” in Greek– and allow yourself to rediscover how to taste food and truly immerse in the culture.

Our traditional recipes from Western Greece use the freshest herbs, spices, and of course, lots of olive oil to bring the flavor of Greece to the Upper East Side for you to discover the true flavor and benefits of a healthy Mediterranean and Middle Eastern diet.
