We lived in Lafayette Plaza for close to 5 years. We forgot to drop a rent check off once and on the 5th day they threatened us with eviction. One winter we lost power for about a week, leaving the building uninhabitable during that time. The water has been shut off on numerous occasions for repairs that left us with little to no water pressure that the maintenance staff seemed incompetent to fixed (never was). We ended up having to get a low water pressure shower head to take a decent shower and even that was little help. When the fire alarm was set off in the building, we were told we could reenter and had to listen to the bell for over an hour before they turned it off at 10:15 pm.
