Dr Bauer became a doctor to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. Choosing to specialize in lung disorders and the care of critically ill patients enabled him to make a difference and provides a way to contribute in the most effective way. Dr Bauer believes that his family has had the greatest influence on his life. From his father he learned the importance of hard work and earnestness, while his mother taught him the value of kindness and education.
