I have to say I was not too disappointed when Soho moved out and Brighton Beer Garden moved in. The Beer Garden is the absolute best place in Brighton to watch the game hands down. Cheap food too!

I went to BBG twice after it opened and had really slow and sort of clueless service, i.e. ordered a pale ale and got a stout; bartender stood at the end of the bar watching us sit with no drinks or menus for well over 10 minutes while he chatted with wait staff. On my visit last Sunday I expected the third strike, and what I got were many reasons to go back.

My boyfriend and I seemed to be (inexplicably) the only people there for the Sam Adams beer dinner - great value, really great food (much better than SoHo ever had) and friendly, attentive service. And then beer on top of that? I'm sold, and I'm telling everyone I know to give it another chance.

jbird... you need to head to the downstairs at SoHo. I know the upstairs is elegant, but downstairs is a very cool time as well. Always seems to be busy. Dont count on talking much on the dance floor but the bar is close by. One of my favorite spots in town.

I've been to SoHo several times to chill with friends. It's a great place to sidle up to the bar for a brew. Their chicken quesadillas are pretty good. I have yet to try out the dance floors.

I had no idea that they had brunch... this is the best brunch I have found in town!
