So let’s discuss the menu; first off its 6 pages long, not to mention double sided. They have every possible omelet combination known to man. The pancakes/waffles/French toast served with fruit filling or fruit on top are always good. The steak and eggs and lobster omelets are awesome, although seriously filling. Don't order a combo special if you aren't hungry; there's no way you'll be able to eat it all. I highly recommend the cream of wheat to start it’s amazing, you won’t regret it!

What a great local joint. I live just down the street and Neighborhood Restaurant's weekend breakfast and brunch is just what the doctor ordered, most mornings. The french toast is amazing! Dont be frightened by the line out front too, it moves fast, and you get free coffee too. And hey, it doesnt hurt to get to know some of your neighbors! Great service, great crowd, great food. Awesome place.

I totally agree with Janelle R. The cream of wheat is ah-mazing! I would stop to get it any hour of the day even if I had just eaten - it is that good. If you live in the Union Square area consider yourself lucky to have such a great restaurant nearby.

OMG!!!! I don't even like cream of wheat, but i ate it at the insistence of my waitress, and let me tell you - its magical !
I always bring friends from out of town here, because the food is always amazing, the portions are huge, the staff makes everyone feel like their regulars, and the atmosphere is so totally old school Boston. Great place - take a drive on the weekends if you don't live nearby - definitely worth it.
